The bail application for the two men arrested and charged in connection with the death of Jansen Park’s Brandon Pretorius is expected to resume today (May 27).
Ruan Beetge (30) and Gordan Westraad (45) are facing murder charges.
Pretorius, a young father from Jansen Park, succumbed to his injuries on May 6, days following an assault which reportedly stemmed from an incident at Malbroer Pub and Grill on North Rand Road.
Beetge and Westraad made their first court appearance on May 13.
During their last appearance, Pretorius’s mother, Lisa, broke down and wept as she was talking about losing her eldest son.
