Community support brings relief to Boksburg SPCA
The society is grateful for the donation.
The Elspark/Freeway Park CPF extends sincere gratitude to all residents and supporters who generously donated to their recent food and blanket drive in support of the Boksburg SPCA.
Thanks to the community’s incredible response, over 700kg of pet food, more than 100 blankets, towels, toys, canned food, and even dog beds were delivered to the society.
This impressive donation will go a long way in providing comfort and nourishment to animals in need this winter.
According to one of the organisers from the CPF, Andries Kemp, the campaign was a wonderful demonstration of the community’s compassion and willingness to make a difference.
The drive has been such a success that Pick n Pay Elspark has decided to keep the donation bin at the store exit in place for a little longer, giving more shoppers the chance to contribute.
Boksburg SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who made a contribution.
