Public meeting to provide feedback on petition over alleged housing corruption

The ward councillor pointed out that the petitions committee has recommended that Gauteng Human Settlements investigate the matter.

Residents, particularly those who felt aggrieved at being overlooked for the Leeuwpoort housing project when authorities were selecting beneficiaries, are invited to a public meeting to be held on October 7.
During the meeting, which will be held at the town hall at 10:00, Ward 32 Clr Marius de Vos will provide an update on the petition for the investigation of alleged corruption in the Leeuwpoort Housing Project Phase Two allocations, which was served last month on the agenda of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature Petitions Committee.
De Vos pointed out that the committee has recommended that Gauteng Human Settlements investigate the matter.
