Just what the doctor ordered! Help local pharmacy fill children’s Xmas stockings
Donate hygiene essentials, clothing and a special toy to make make a child's Christmas special.
Med-Leigh Pharmacy at The Square shopping centre on Rietfontein Road is collecting donations to bring festive joy to children at Urban Ruins, and they need your help.
Their goal is to fill shoeboxes with small treasures that can make a big difference in a child’s life. Essentials such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, face cloth, and soap, everyday items many of us take for granted, are encouraged.
Add a warm item of clothing and a special toy, and you’ve got a box full of love, dignity, and delight.
Whether it’s a full shoebox or a financial contribution, every donation counts. No amount is too small to make a difference.
“We would be grateful if the community could assist us in helping the children to have a pleasant Christmas. We’re also planning on spending time with the children, which we’re really excited about,” said pharmacy manager Balushi Sekele.
Donations can be dropped off at the pharmacy until October 31.
