How long have you been a member of the club? About 15 years.
Skill level? 5-star Masters.
Where was the image taken? In the Kgalagadi, a couple of months ago.
What inspired the image? I’ve always loved meerkats and stalk them when I find them.
What time of day was the image taken? Late afternoon, just after sunset.
Camera settings? f5,6 1/800 auto ISO, which went to 6400.
Why do you enjoy being a member of the club? It has a lot to offer, from workshops to outings and social events. One can learn so much without the huge expenses charged for photography courses. Outings are cost-effective and safe in a group.
What do you enjoy the most about photography and why? It’s like a drug; the best addiction I have ever had. I don’t have a speciality or favourite genre and am diverse with my photography, from people to nature and macro and landscapes, I will snap away.
