Ekurhuleni residents are advised of a planned water outage from December 7 to 15, to allow Rand Water to conduct essential maintenance on its bulk water supply infrastructure.

The work will affect water supply to various parts of the city on different days, including Boksburg, Edenvale, Bedfordview, Germiston, Thembisa, Kempton Park, Benoni, Springs, Brakpan, Kwa-Thema, Vosloorus and Eden Park.
The City of Ekurhuleni has confirmed that water tankers will be deployed to the affected areas for the duration of the disruptions.

Residents have been cautioned that it may take up to two weeks after the maintenance period for water pressure and supply to fully stabilise, particularly in high-lying areas.

On December 13 between 08:00 and 16:00 (eight hours).
Boksburg: Sunward Park, Van Dyk Park, Freeway Park, Parkdene, Cinderella, Elspark, Groeneweide, Klipootjie, Borksburg South, Boksburg Industrial, Boksburg CBD, Farrar Park and Libradene.

Vosloorus and Eden Park: All extensions of Vosloorus, Dawn Park, Windmill Park, Vila Lisa, Mapleton AH, Parts of Eden Park, Sky City, Watervalspruit and Greenfields.
