Boksburg North CPF spreads festive cheer in biggest Christmas drive yet
What started as a festive idea turned into the biggest Christmas outreach yet for Boksburg CPF Sector 1, thanks to strong community support and generous sponsors.
Boksburg CPF Sector One has wrapped up its most successful annual community Christmas drive to date, bringing festive cheer to children and adults across several neighbourhoods in the area.
The three-day initiative saw more than 1 200 packs of sweets distributed to residents in Witkoppie Ridge, Impala Park and Atlasville, making it the biggest drive the sector has hosted so far.
A highlight of the event was a lit-up Santa sleigh, made available by community member known as Rudi, which accompanied the convoy throughout the drive and added to the festive atmosphere.
According to organiser and CPF member Kelvin Watson, the success of the drive was made possible by strong community support, with residents and businesses contributing either financially or by donating sweet packs.
The Humanity Foundation sponsored 100 packs of sweets, while Task Tactical contributed 500 packs, as well as cool drinks and water for members working behind the scenes. Black Bear Security provided several vehicles and security support to ensure the convoy ran smoothly.

1 Life Fire and Rescue deployed two vehicles to protect participants during the drive and also sponsored Christmas treats for dogs in the area. AAA Alarms and Legendary Guardians Exclusive Protection each sent a vehicle to be part of the convoy.

Watson also thanked the CPF members who worked behind the scenes to coordinate the event, as well as community member Bianca Bolton, who dedicated many hours over several days to packing and preparing 400 sweet packs on her own.
