Take note of refuse removal amendments

Ensure your wheelie bins are curb side on the correct days.

The City of Ekurhuleni’s (CoE) waste management services business unit urges residents to note changes to its waste collection calendar.

According to CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, the amendments were implemented on January 1, with some areas now being changed to different days of the week.

“The changes come in an effort to ensure effective and seamless service delivery,” he said.

“This schedule is valid until December 2027. Any complaints regarding uncollected waste can be logged with the CoE call centre on 0860 543 000, via email at call.centre@ekurhuleni.gov.za, or using the My CoE app.”
