#IEBMatricResults: Release of IEB results brings joy and celebrations

Scenes of jubilation and relief are unfolding at Independent Examinations Board (IEB) schools in Boksburg this afternoon as learners arrive to receive their highly anticipated 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) results.
Boksburg Advertiser teams are on the ground at St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls, Christian Brothers’ College, and Woodlands International College, capturing the moment and speaking with top achievers.
The atmosphere is reportedly filled with emotion, as anxiety is giving way to relief and joy among learners, teachers, parents, and guardians.

Achievements
St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls has once again delivered an outstanding performance, achieving a 100% pass rate and maintaining its back-to-back high performance. The school is hosting a cocktail party later this afternoon to celebrate the achievements of its Class of 2025.
Christian Brothers’ College (CBC) also recorded a 100% pass rate, while Woodlands International College also achieved a perfect pass rate of 100%.
Release of IEB results
The IEB released the matric results for the Class of 2025 this afternoon and announced an overall national pass rate of 98.31%.
The results for government schools will be released tomorrow, February 13.
More than 900 000 learners who wrote the 2025 NSC examinations are eagerly awaiting the release of their results.
