UPDATE: Staff scrub scene where Wiandre Pretorius died (VIDEO)

Staff were seen cleaning the spot where Wiandre Pretorius died, as vehicles continued to come and go, and the petrol station returned to business as usual.

Staff were seen washing away blood at the scene where Wiandre Pretorius (41) died after reportedly taking his own life.

The incident took place at the Astron Energy petrol station along Hendrik Potgieter Road in Dalview just before 22:00 last night (February 7).

The Boksburg Advertiser’s sister publication Brakpan Herald visited the scene earlier this morning and observed that it was business as usual at the petrol station, with vehicles continuing to come and go.

A steady stream of motorists were refuelling as normal.

There was also a high media presence.

Although parts of the scene were cordoned off, curious onlookers could not help but glance toward the spot where the incident took place as they entered or exited the shop on the premises.
