Storytelling turns 1 and Melville Koppies wants you to be part of the celebration

On March 8, Melville Koppies celebrates a year of storytelling with birthday cake and snacks. Save the date now to be part of this special event.

Storyteller Merle Grace will start her stories at 9.00.

It’s a short walk up the hill to the lecture hut, and even if you stay for a piece of cake, there’ll still be time to explore the Koppies afterwards until 11.30.

The Koppies open at 08.00.

The cost is R100 for adults, R50 for under-18s, and free entry for under-5s.

All other activities will still be on offer – hiking, booking a guided tour (072 348 0578), or just wandering around and enjoying being in nature in the middle of a big city.

Don’t forget the 8km guided hike on the last Sunday of the month.

Your entrance fee helps us pay the wages of their valuable conservation team.

Find secure parking at Marks Park, Judith Road.

Security on the Koppies is provided.
