Latest crime trends in Boksburg
No arrests have been made in any of the cases, and police investigations are ongoing.

Here are some of the serious crimes recently reported to the Boksburg SAPS.
Hijackings
• In a separate incident, a delivery driver was recently hijacked on Trichardts Road after being forced off his motorcycle by two armed suspects while en route to make a food delivery in Plantation.
According to police, the victim reported that a white VW Polo deliberately struck his black Honda Ace 125 motorcycle, causing him to stop.
Two men then exited the Polo, pointed a firearm at him, and ordered him not to scream, instructing him to comply.
The suspects forced the victim into their vehicle, where additional accomplices were already inside, while another suspect drove off with the motorcycle in the direction of the SPCA.
Near the Unilever premises, the suspects placed him in the boot of the Polo and drove around for approximately two hours before releasing him in Benoni. His cellphone was also stolen during the ordeal.
• In a separate recent case, a motorist was hijacked along Rondebult Road by a group of five suspects travelling in a white Hyundai i10.
The victim told police he had stopped at a red traffic light near Parkrand Boulevard when he noticed a man approaching his vehicle with a firearm. The suspect pointed the weapon at him and warned him not to resist, stating they intended to take the vehicle.
Five accomplices then joined in, forcibly removing the victim from his Nissan NP200 and pushing him into their vehicle before driving off.
The suspects later abandoned the victim in a secluded field in Tsakane. He was not injured.
