#AdvertiserWinterWoolDrive: Local teen is a busy knitting bee

We have extended our drop-off locations to Peniel: A Place of Encounter, 36 Schatchat Crescent, Dawn Park.

Meet Siphephelo Mazibuko (13), a self-taught knitter and crocheter from Dayanglen who considers getting to grips with wool and yarn the best hobby in the world.

Inspired by a neighbour’s love of the craft two years ago, Siphephelo set about knitting squares for a blanket over hours and hours of practice, bearing in mind that practice makes perfect!

And, it certainly has turned out to be the perfect hobby for her, as she has now graduated to beautiful soft toys and many other impressive items.
