If your heart is yearning for this, why not pop into the Boksburg Hiking Club’s monthly meeting?

Members get together at Atlas Bowling Club, corner of Denel North and Atlas roads, Bonaero Park, on the first Wednesday each month – so the upcoming meeting is September 2.

Braai fires are always crackling by 17:30 for a bring-and-braai social before the meeting starts at 19:00.

There are guest speakers at some meetings and members are also informed about upcoming hikes they can book for.

The bowling club offers a cash bar.
