The winning teams now represent the province in the national championships to be held in the Western Cape in July.
The previous year national competition was held in Cape Town, where the St Doms seniors were crowed South African champions while the juniors came second.
The competition is dedicated to the renowned adjudicator, the late Norman Knight, who was a previous adjudicator of drum majorettes.

The provincial contest attracted hundreds of supporters who came to cheer their favourite teams on.
Among those who graced the event with their attendance are these retired St Doms teachers Linda Matthysen (HOD), Yvonne van Dyk (Junior School principal) and Jenny Kerr (junior school vice principal).
