President Cyril Ramaphosa recently announced the easing of level three lockdown regulations. The Advertiser asked a few locals how they feel about the president’s announcement.
Percy Letele: “I'm excited about the eased restrictions. However, I'm still afraid of contracting the virus. It's better to stay at home.”
Ané Swanepoel: “I'm happy that President Cyril Ramaphosa eased some of the lockdown restrictions. It will help to save people's jobs.”
Ryno Swanepoel: “I'm happy about the president's announcement. It means that people will be allowed to socialise more.”
Henk Top: “It's a good thing that the president eased some of the lockdown restrictions. This will give the economy a much-needed boost.”
Karel Haefele: “I believe it's a good thing that President Cyril Ramaphosa eased the lockdown restrictions. In fact, the lockdown shouldn't have been implemented in the first place, and it's having a dire effect on our economy.”
