The Advertiser asked a few locals to give the City of Ekurhuleni a rating out of 10 for service delivery.
Marilie Ferreira: I'm going to give the City of Ekurhuleni a three out of 10 for service delivery. The municipality doesn't cut the grass in the City and many times doesn't collect our waste.
Johan Engelbrecht: I'm definitely giving the municipality a zero out of 10 for service delivery. The stormwater drains near my property in Impala Park are blocked because they aren't maintained. We're also experiencing issues with waste collection.
Francis Kasambala: I give the municipality a five out of 10. I believe they are doing their best in terms of servicing the community. However, they can improve and ensure more people have access to electricity.
Liza Beukes: I would give the City of Ekurhuleni a 10 out of 10 because they assisted me with a blocked drain near my house a few months ago. I'm impressed with how fast they responded to the problem.
Salomie Opperman: I give the City of Ekurhuleni a minus one out of 10. It seems as though the municipality doesn't care about the aesthetics of our cities. They don't cut the grass or repair the potholes.
