The curfew has been from 24:00 to 04:00 from October 1 when South Africa moved to alert level one of the lockdown.
Should the curfew be lifted?
Jamie Waldauer: I don’t mind the curfew; however, I don’t think it is helping to prevent the spread of the virus.
Loraine Pereira: They must lift the curfew because the number of infections is down and people will be able to work as normal.
Tanya Nyanbunze: The curfew must be lifted. It’s having a negative effect on people’s jobs and salaries.
Ryan Waldauer: Yes, they should lift the curfew. I don’t believe it is helping to keep the virus from spreading but it is keeping some people out of trouble.
John Alfred: They can leave the curfew as it is because people must stay at home and keep their distance to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
