Valentine’s Day: Tell us what’s on your mind
February is the month of love. The Advertiser asked a few locals how they will be celebrating Valentine's Day.
Letitia Smit: I’m not celebrating Valentine’s Day because my anniversary is two days later and I rather want to do something special on that day.
Francis Khewa: I won’t be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year because I’m not in a relationship, but I do celebrate when I have someone special.
Gift Maxwell: Valentine’s Day is just not my thing, so I won’t be celebrating it. It’s overrated and just a normal day for me.
Emmanuel Netshieneulu: I’m celebrating Valentine’s Day with my children this year and I’m looking forward to it. I think it’s going to be a nice day.
Alina Mofokeng: I’m not celebrating Valentine’s Day because it’s overrated and a moneymaking scheme. You can show somebody you love them on any day.
