Residents of Cosmos Old Age Home share their Easter plans

How will you spend Easter this year?

We visited Cosmos Old Age Home in Van Dyk Park to find out how the elderly will be spending Easter.

Sally Niland: I will be spending Easter here with all my friends. I am also an artist and will draw something beautiful for Easter.
Margarete Mark: I am visiting my daughter. We will go to church and out for lunch. My daughters and son frequently fetch me. It’s like they don’t want me to stay here.
Ria de Beer: I do not have plans for Easter. I will spend the weekend here and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us this long weekend.
Muriel Mosomane: I will be visiting my family and attending church on Friday. On Saturday, we will visit my late husband’s grave to clean it up, on Sunday we go to church and, on Monday, I’m going Easter egg hunting with my grandchildren.
Irene Barnard: I am looking forward to this Easter and my family might pay me a surprise visit.
Nelly Marneweck: It will depend on my children as they usually come to visit on weekends. Spending the long weekend with them would be very, very nice.
