Do you know about Earth Day?

Earth Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a worldwide call for environmental awareness and action.

Since its launch in 1970, the campaign has grown into one of the biggest global movements for the planet.

This year’s theme, ‘Our Power, Our Planet’, focuses on the role that ordinary people can play in protecting the environment.

From reducing pollution to promoting cleaner communities, Earth Day reminds people that small actions, when taken collectively, can have a lasting impact on the future of the planet.

How can you help celebrate Earth Day? You can start by picking up trash around your neighbourhood, planting more trees, and following the big Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle.
