Mathew Matthysen writes:

Most of us cringe when we hear or see tow trucks, especially after the recent exposé on Carte Blanche.

Here is a great story that will change your mind.

My car needed a jump start, so I contacted my insurance, and they called out Universal Towing and Transport.

They were here within half an hour.

Manie, the technician, was absolutely fantastic. He even called me ‘Oom’.

He performed all the tests, removed the battery, and phoned to find out if battery places were open.

I then phoned his boss, John, to tell him I had received great service. He is a humble man. Later, John and Manie messaged me to see if I came right.

Who does that nowadays?

This was the best service I have ever received in any industry, especially this one.

I highly recommend them. This experience taught me not to paint everyone with the same brush.

This was customer service on a grand scale.
