Davies, Kriel lose in debut fights
Two of The Natural Team (TNT) Gym boxers Ashton Davies and Dee-Jay Kriel suffered losses in their respective pro-debut bouts at Gold Reef City on Thursday, April 10.
Kriel, 18, went down to Lukhang Khwaza via split decision in their four-round flyweight bout.
Gym partner Davies, who went head-to-head with Vusumzi Nyawuza in their featherweight clash, also ended the match on the wrong side of the judges’ split decision result after four rounds.
