Boksburg Wrestling Club to feature in Ekurhuleni Championships

The Boksburg Wrestling Club will enjoy a healthy representation at the Ekurhuleni Wrestling Open Championships scheduled to take place at the John Barrable Hall in Benoni on March 27.

Proceedings are scheduled to begin as early as 7am on the day. A combination of junior and senior wrestlers from the local club are set to star at the competition, which is expected to run the whole day until 6.30pm – at least.

Organisers have assured that all Covid-19 protocols will be strictly followed.

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be handed to the first three places respectively. The organisers also added that medals will be handed out on the mat, directly after all medal matches.
