Adam to make Hadleigh debut
All set for former Boksburg skipper's first game on foreign soil.
Former Boksburg Cricket Club Premier League captain Adam Forbes is set to make his debut for new club Hadleigh & Thundersley in England this weekend.
Forbes will line-up in a friendly encounter against Finedon Dolben Cricket Club on Saturday in preparation for their cup encounter against Benfleet Cricket Club next weekend.
During a phone conversation with the Advertiser on April 14, Forbes confirmed he was out of quarantine and was raring to have his first go on European soil.
Speaking ahead of the clash, he said: “I am excited and nervous but keen to start playing. It’s sunny over here but still cold. The maximum is about nine degrees.”
Hadleigh & Thundersley competes in the top division of the Essex League.
