The Boksburg Football Club collected a crucial three points when they defeated Bedfordview Country Club (BCC) 2-1 in a top-of-the-table clash at the Boksburg City Stadium on May 15.
The home side also remained as the only undefeated team on the ELFA Premier League log after six rounds of play after inflicting BCC with their second defeat.

Blues winger Dylan Fray gave the Blues a slight advantage going into the half-time break after he netted the only goal of the opening stanza.
With BCC equalising in the second 45 minutes, Boksburg’s star striker, Ernest Anwulobi, restored his side’s advantage with a little over 15 minutes to go until the final whistle blew.
The forward, who was included in the starting 11 despite carrying a knee injury, had to be substituted moments after scoring the decisive goal with the knee causing discomfort.
The home side hung on for the important win, which could go a long way towards the end of the season.
