BAC members ready for Comrades and Two Oceans
The members achieved great results at the qualifying Kaapsehoop marathon.
Members of the Boksburg Athletic Club (BAC) recently excelled in the Boksburg Kaapsehoop Marathon to qualify for the Comrades 2022 and Two Oceans 2022 marathons.
“This event has been approved as a qualifier for Comrades and Two Oceans marathons. All our members qualified and are excited about the marathons. They achieved great results, ” said Caronn Harris, BAC secretary.
The results are as follows:
10km: Andrew Porobich (00:52:00) and Chris van Wyk (00:56:00)
42.2 km: Kevin Bryan Porobich (3:20:00), Caronn Harris (3:25:00), George Benade (3:52:00), Ian Manchest (3:52:00), Mandi Rudatis (3:52:00), Bernadette de Freitas (4:09:00), Sally Goncalves (4:13:00) and Rita van Wyk (4:23:00).
