Boksburg FC proud of its league winners

Boksburg FC's u-6 and u-17 teams did Boksburg proud when they recently won the Eastern Local Football Association League Division 2.

The u-6 team won the league with 45 points. They played 20 games, won 13, lost one, and had six draws.

Ernest Seforo, u-6 head coach, said: “They achieved a lot, and it was the first time that Boksburg FC u-6 did so well. It’s amazing, I’m so proud of them. I would also like to express my gratitude to the Boksburg FC management and parents for their support,” said the coach.

The Boksburg FC u-17 team won the Eastern Local Football Association League Division 2.

Simphiwe Mgetyengans, Boksburg FC u-17 coach, also praised his team for being the record winners in the Eastern Local Football Association, which they won with 42 points.

“It’s superb that they won the league, and I am proud of the boys. It was a tough league, however, they managed to pull through,” said the coach.
