Bester and Otto first at Emperors Classic

The race came back after a three-year absence due to Covid-19.

Billed as the race of dreams, the Emperors Palace Road Classic returned to the streets of Ekurhuleni on March 27 after a three-year absence due to Covid-19.

The race attracted over 3 000 participants. Shaun-Nick Bester won the men’s elite event. He was followed by Jaco van Dyk, while Dusty Day came in third.

Taneale Otto claimed first place in the elite women’s category. S’anarra Grove followed in second place and Liza-Ann Louw completed the podium.
