Van Dyk Park fighter Robert ‘9mm’ Swanepoel won his first EFC fight after defeating Masefi Ngoma in the EFC 94 welterweight bout at the Performance Institute in Sandton on May 7.
Swanepoel defeated Ngoma via TKO (strikes) at 0:39 into round two.
The fighter said he felt good about his victory and all the hard work he has putt in to get the win.
“I’m absolutely happy about my performance. It was a long fight and I’m glad that I could get the job done,” he said.
Swanepoel says his secret to success is perseverance and giving up.
“I believe my next fight will be in September or October, which will be a good time for me to get back. It will give me some time to work on my skills so I can continue the winning streak,” he said.
