Local wrestler victorious in Tunisia
The club said they privileged to have Van Rooyen as one of its wrestlers.
Wiandru van Rooyen from the Boksburg Amateur Wrestling Club became the U17 (92kg) African champion when he represented the South African team at the 2023 African Continental Championships in Tunisia recently.
The club is proud that Van Rooyen’s hard work paid off.
