Kris Mihaylov (16), of Boksburg Aquatic Saints, set national records in the 200m and 100m at the National Junior Champs in Durban from March 15 to 19.
He won nine golds and achieved a personal best in the 200m (1:50:51) and 100m (50:51) freestyle. His next destination is the senior nationals, which take place at Newton Park Swimming Pool in Gqeberha from April 8 to 13.
