Boksburg North in high spirits despite loss

The Boksburg North SAPS football team suffered a 5-2 loss against Benoni SAPS in an away game on April 10.

The match is part of the Ekurhuleni North Football League for police officers.

Andrew Mpati, Boksburg North’s coach, said despite the loss he is proud of the team’s performance.

“My team’s spirit is looking good, and I believe they can win more games,” said Mpati.

The team showed improvement when they won 2-0 against Daveyton SAPS at the Boksburg Stadium on February 14.

Boksburg North SAPS drew 3-3 against the Pan African Parliament (PAP) in Olifantsfontein the following Wednesday.

The team then defeated Kempton Park SAPS 4-2 on March 20 at the Boksburg Stadium.

Another highlight for the team is their 7-1 victory over Edenvale on April 3, also at the Boksburg Stadium.
