Slap fighter ready to turn heads

Looselaw said his preparation for the fight is going well.

Beyers Park slap fighter Johan ‘Looselaw’ van Vuuren is gearing up for the South African Slap Fighting Association Thunderstruck competition being held at Chicago’s Piano Bar in Randpark Ridge on July 28.

Looselaw will take on Shaun ’Noisyboy’ Gerber.

Speaking to the Boksburg Advertiser ahead of the fight, Looselaw said his preparation is going well.

“I feel good. At the last fight, I injured my wrist, but it’s healed now. Noisy called me out without ever winning a fight. I don’t think this time will be different,” said Looselaw.

Looselaw’s record is 1-2-1, while Noisyboy’s is 0-4-0.

He thanked his sponsors like Wildrose Tattoo Studio, Shift energy drink, Engineering Solutions, Lindburg Engineering, Everlast SA, the Elsburg Rugby Club, the Gauteng All Blacks, Man Up Rum and Fastlane Carwash.
