Young female rugby players share their love for the sport
Emma Davidtz (Springs Rugby Club): I grew up playing with my brother and nephew. I love the game. I love the sportsmanship and being part of a team.
Skyla Delport (Benoni Northerns): Rugby is an interesting sport. I find hockey and netball boring. I love rugby because I have fun all the time while playing.
Chloe van der Merwe (Boksburg Owls): I’ve always loved the sport. I fell in love with it from very young. My favourite team is the Springboks.
Macy-Leigh Botes (Benoni Northerns): I’ve been playing for three years. I love playing in a team. I play as a prop and sometimes hooker. I want to play professionally for the Springboks Women. My favourite player is Blaine Golden.
