Boksburg FC continues winning streak

Boksburg FC has won most of its friendly matches.

Boksburg FC’s senior team beat Abafana BeStyle 12-0 in a much-anticipated friendly match on April 13.

The win comes after Boksburg beat Springs Captain Uprise 17-2 in their previous friendly. The match began with both teams battling it out in the middle of the pitch.

Boksburg FC broke the deadlock with good build-up play from the centre, and David Kitume, their striker, sealed the deal with a powerful shot that went past the goalkeeper and straight into the net.

As the match progressed, the home side had most of the ball possession, and with that in hand, Kagasano Seforo, another forward player for the home side, increased the tally, scoring the second goal for the home side. The home side led 2-0.

Xola Boyce scored the third goal for Boksburg FC after the team had several good passes. Wesley Vollmer, a winger for the home side, had a good run from the right flank and sealed the deal by scoring, and the home side led 4-0.

Boyce grabbed a brace with a killer finish after Boksburg played mesmerising touches. The home team led 5-0.
And Boksburg didn’t stop there. Mlando Shongwe scored a goal immediately after his introduction, and he later increased the score with another one.

The home side led 7-0. Seforo tried a long-range shot just after Mlando scored a brace, but his shot hit the crossbar. Seforo later scored the eighth goal for Boksburg by pulling out a right-footed long-range shot. Boksburg continued to put pressure on the Benoni side.
