Europa Football and Event X to host family fun event in Boksburg

Europa Football and Event X will be hosting a family fun event for the community of Boksburg and surrounding towns at the Boksburg City Stadium on June 5.

The event, which will be held on the baseball field and runs between 09:00 and 13:00, will feature a free football clinic for children (both girls and boys aged between six and 18 years), a car boot sale for people who want to sell their unwanted items, and last but not least, there will be live music to entertain the crowd.

Also, there will be food stalls for attendees to indulge in different kinds of delicious food.
An R100 will secure you a space for the car boot sale, entrance is R10 per car even if there is more than one person in the vehicle, and free football training for the young ones.

According to one of the event organisers, Shane van den Heever from Europa Football, the objective of the football clinic is to help children develop their football skills.
“Due to the pandemic, we will be conducting non-contact sports training sessions where every child will have their own soccer balls and will be placed apart from each other. They will be receiving training on developing both technique and game understanding from trained couches.”
