Local musician releases new single
The talented rapper said the song defines who he is and what he stands for.
Daveyton musician and producer Mandisa Trevor Lubisi, who goes by the stage name Mendy BeMajor, recently dropped a new single called Kwentekeni? (what happened?).
Mendy BeMajor, who grew up in Ramaphosa, explained Kwentekeni? is a siSwati rap song inspired by some of the feelings, thoughts and challenges he recently faced.
“It is part of the story of my life. I would love to see it touch people’s souls, minds and bodies (get them to dance to it). The theme of the song is empowerment and hope,” Mendy BeMajor said.
The talented rapper said the song defines who he is and what he stands for.
Mendy BeMajor became a musician because it’s a suitable way for him to express his feelings to those who can relate to them.
The musician mostly specialises in hip-hop and Afro-beat.
Mendy BeMajor is also the artist behind the EP, Umthakathi, which, according to him, got him a lot of attention on the streets, social media and the digital world.
The musician expressed his gratitude to his fans for supporting him.
“It is much appreciated. More content and music can be expected soon,” he said.
Kwentekeni? is available on all digital platforms like Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Tidal, Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.
