On June 23, Emperors Palace hosted VIP guests at its NuMetro cinema compex for the pre-screening of Elvis, a film that explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (portrayed by Austin Butler).
The movie was preceded by a cocktail party.

Lillian Venter of New Modder and Bennetta Swanepoel of Bredell were among the special guests at the pre-screening of Elvis. Guests were entertained by Elvis look-a-like Shaky Russell and could also have some fun dressing up as the King, which Lillian and Bennetta took the opportunity to do.
Guests like Lee Herrmann of Centurion and Scott Maclellan of Benoni also had the opportunity of having fun by dressing up as the King of Rock.
