The following crime were reported to Brakpan police over the past weekend:

Friday – Copper bars were stolen during a break-in at a business along Molecule Road in Vulcania.

Saturday – Two Toyota Fortuners were stolen from Park Street in separate incidents.

The vehicles were stolen within an hour of each other.

• A home on Wordsworth Street in Dalpark was broken into.

An inverter, gas cylinder and other household items were stolen.

Sunday – Tyres, rims, a car battery and other valuables were stolen during a burglary at a business along Farquharson Road in Rand Collieries.

Weekend arrests:

• Theft: 1
• Drunk driving: 5
• Possession of drugs: 1
