Underprivileged children enjoy an early Christmas
City and the Afrisun Trust brought the spirit of the festive season to life for hundreds of children on Monday. The youngsters enjoyed a day of non-stop entertainment, in a fantasy water world, on the casino’s premises.
Carnival City and the Afrisun Trust spread some Christmas cheer to hundreds of underprivileged children on Monday.
The youngsters, from various orphanages in Ekurhuleni, were treated to a day of non-stop entertainment at a water park.
The children enjoyed a fantasy water world, complete with water slides, castles and boat rides, and the outdoor games and foam offered the children hours of excitement.
Other activities and attractions included face-painting and the opportunity to meet and interact with visiting clowns.
Throughout the day each child received fresh fruit juices, water and healthy snacks.
This was followed by a nutritious lunch, ice-cream and sweets.
The highlight of the day was an early visit from Father Christmas, appropriately laded with gifts galore.
