Police hold auction

Brakpan police will hold a Sale by Tender Auction on Thursday, April 24.

The auction will take place at the SAPS Sportgrounds along Main Reef Road, in Apex, Benoni, from 8am to 2pm.

Viewing and proposals will take place from 8am until 10am, and countering proposals will take place from 10am until 11am.

The giving out of tenders, payments and removals will take place from 11am until 2pm.

Payment is by cash only and all goods are sold “voetstoots”.

According to Capt Joep Joubert, spokesperson for the Brakpan police station commander, the auction will offer unclaimed goods that were confiscated by the SAPS.

“These include appliances, television sets, DVD players, electric tools, generators and garden furniture,” he said.
