Jasmin murder case postponed again

The 23-year-old man accused of raping and murdering his niece, Jasmin Pretorius (4) made his fifth court appearance in the Brakpan Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The case was postponed to Wednesday, May 21, and the accused remains in custody.

It is expected that the case will be referred to the Delmas High Court on this date.

* Jasmin’s body was found under a bed in her father’s home in Suenet Flats, along Voortrekker Road, on Saturday, December 28.

She had been reported missing earlier that day, and her uncle was later arrested.
