A red Mazda 323 was stolen from Van der Merwe Street, Brenthurst.
Three burglaries were reported.
Jewellery, a television set, computers, curtains and other goods were stolen from homes along Soetdoring Street in Dalpark, Namaqua Avenue in Leachville, and Rennie Road in Withok Estates.
A car parked at an address along Lower Road, Minnebron, was broken into.
Thieves stole a CD player, speakers and cash from the vehicle.
Saturday
Three homes were burgled.
Television sets, camping chairs and a baby cot were among the items stolen from properties along Talbot Street in Brakpan North, Devon Avenue in Dalview, and Saffron Street in Dalpark.
A man was robbed of R2 300 in cash along Station Road, at about 2.30pm.
The man was waiting for a work colleague — to whom he was going to give the money — when a male approached him and asked if he wanted to buy a cellphone.
The male suddenly grabbed his bag, containing the cash, and fled.
A skateboarder was robbed of his cellphone along Thomas Street, in Brenthurst.
The youngster was skateboarding on the pavement of a nearby church at about 5.30pm, when a grey Volkswagen Polo with four male occupants stopped.
Two men got out of the car, grabbed the skateboarder and started searching him.
They took his cellphone, got back into the vehicle and drove away.
Sunday
A red Honda motorbike was stolen from Stoffberg Avenue.
Tyres and mag wheels were stolen from a car parked along Lower Road, Minnebron.
The driver of a silver Volkswagen Golf was hijacked along Bylde Avenue, Leachville.
Three hijackers, two of whom were armed with guns, confronted the driver and a friend, as they pulled up at an address along the street at about 6.30pm.
The pair were ordered out of the car and told to lie down.
The hijackers also fled with four cellphones and the driver’s wallet, containing a large sum of cash.
The car has since been recovered.
