He and three others are sought for the robbery of a skateboarder at about 5.30pm, on Saturday, June 21.
The youngster was skateboarding on the pavement of a church, along Thomas Street, Brenthurst, when a grey Volkswagen Polo, with four male occupants, stopped beside him.
Two men got out of the car, grabbed the skateboarder and searched him.
They took his cellphone, valued at R1 900, got back into the vehicle and drove away.
The robber is believed to be about 25 years old and is of medium build and height.
He was described as violent.
