Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend (October 17, 18 and 19):

Friday

A spare wheel was stolen from a bakkie parked at an address along Rangeview Road, Dalpark.

Two burglaries were reported.

Jewellery, a cellphone, laptop, computer tablet, clothing and shoes were stolen from addresses along Merriman Street, Brenthurst, and Afrikaner Road, Dalview.

Saturday

A white Toyota Hilux bakkie was stolen from the corner of Abercorn Street and Prince George Avenue.

An orange Big Boy scooter was stolen from an address along Hagart Street, Brenthurst.

Burglars stole jewellery and a games console from a home along Mulberry Avenue, Leachville.

A break-in was reported at a home along Kipling Crescent, Dalpark.

Two DVD players, cellphones, a television set, two games consoles, bedding and shoes were stolen.

Sunday

Three burglaries were reported.

These took place at addresses along Plumbago Street, Dalpark, Davy Street, Minnebron, and Derby Avenue.

Television sets, a hi-fi, jewellery, laptops and a heater were stolen.

Two businesses situated next to each other along Station Road were broken into.

Burglars stole a laptop and cellphone from one shop and then broke through an interior wall to steal three cellphones from the adjoining shop.
