Television sets, jewellery, a 9mm pistol and electronic goods were stolen from homes along Fanie Street, Sonneveld, and Touwsrivier Street, Leachville.
Saturday
Four break-ins were reported.
These took place at addresses along Kirkpatrick Avenue and Ellis Street, Brakpan North, Saffron Street, Dalpark, and Wenden Avenue.
Various household goods, including television sets, laptops and cellphones were stolen.
A woman was robbed of R30 000 by three armed men in Rand Collieries.
The woman had arrived at her Strauss Road home at about noon after cashing a cheque in a bank at Mall@Carnival.
While waiting for her gate to open, a white car suddenly stopped near her vehicle.
Three men, all of whom were armed with guns, alighted the car and pointed the weapons at her.
The robbers took the woman’s handbag, cellphone and cash, returned to their car and drove off.
About R70 000 worth of goods, including a truck battery, forklift battery and steel flat bars, were stolen from a company along De Kock Street, Vulcania.
Sunday
A white Toyota Hilux bakkie was stolen from Mall@Carnival.
A television set, games console and jewellery were stolen from a home along Elizabeth Eybers Street, Dalpark.
Laerskool Kommando, situated along Northdene Avenue, was broken into.
The burglars gained access through the roof of the principal’s office and opened two safes with a grinder.
Three computers, tablets and cash were taken.
