Five cyclists injured
Five people were injured following an accident on the Heidelberg Road yesterday (Sunday).

Netcare 911 paramedics and other emergency services arrived on the scene and found that six cyclists had collided with each other and fallen on the roadway.
Upon assessment of the cyclists, paramedics found that one man had sustained critical injuries and four people sustained serious injuries.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured man to hospital for the urgent medical care he required.
The remaining injured patients were treated on the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact details surrounding the cause of the crash are still unclear at this stage.
