The Championship Boerewors competition is open for entries until Friday, June 12 and, for the first time in the history of the competition, South Africa’s number one boerewors will be selected through a process of public voting.

Boerewors enthusiasts are encouraged to join in the excitement and submit their finest recipe to ensure that the best boerewors in South Africa can be found.
Entry forms are available from all Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores or visit Championship Boerewors for more information, or to enter online.
The top three recipes will be available at Shoprite and Checkers for consumers to buy, braai and vote for their favourite one, from August 28 until September 10.
The votes will be audited and the winner of the 2015 Championship Boerewors competition will be announced on September 16.
