Man caught red-handed during housebreaking

A 25-year-old man, who was caught red-handed during a housebreaking, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment.

A housebreaking occurred at a residence in 22nd Road, Withok, on May 22, 2015; the alarm went off and a security company immediately responded to it.

The burglar was found inside, with boots, clothing and electric tools to an estimated worth of R5 000 in his possession. He was arrested on the scene.

Linda Manyisa was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for housebreaking on July 15, when he appeared in the Brakpan Magistrates Court; he was also found unfit to possess a firearm.
